Laser Skin Resurfacing

Using a laser to remove areas of damaged or wrinkled skin, laser skin resurfacing works to improve skin layer by layer. Typically, our physicians are able to minimize the appearance of fine lines around the mouth and eyes. Laser skin resurfacing is also helpful in treating facial scars, and in areas of uneven pigmentation. It can be used over the entire face or for specific regions.

THE DETAILS

Many patients will experience mild pinkness or redness of skin in the treated areas in the weeks following the procedure. The final results sometimes take several months to fully appear, but is typically more dramatic than techniques like microdermabrasion or acid peels.
