THE DETAILS

Breast augmentation or breast implant procedures take place in Traverse City’s hospital or surgery center on an outpatient basis by our experienced plastic surgeons. Post-procedure, women report minimal or manageable pain with the assistance of a custom cooling device. Results from the breast augmentation procedure provide patients with a breast shape that is larger and more youthful. Modern saline and silicone breast implants look and feel natural and are available in a variety of widths, volumes, and types. During consultation, our surgeons will discuss options and relative benefits of each. Unfortunately, this procedure is normally not covered by medical insurance plans, as it is typically considered cosmetic. Women who undergo this procedure usually return to their normal activity levels in two+ weeks.
