BENEFITS
Melt unwanted fat and firm tissue for a tighter, slimmer you.
THE DETAILS
Laser-assisted lipolysis, or laser lipo, is a safe, minimally invasive and effective treatment to firm your body and remove unwanted fat. Our system, Allura™ by Sciton (previously named ProLipo PLUS™), delivers laser energy through a slender fiber to areas of body fat. The energy from the laser melts the unwanted fat and firms tissue resulting in a tighter body and slimmer appearance.
Allura is a relatively quick procedure that allows for a faster recovery than traditional, more invasive liposuction, as it does not require general anesthesia. Our Board Certified plastic surgeons perform the procedure in the comfort and privacy of our in-clinic treatment rooms. Patients return home the same day and can resume normal activities shortly thereafter.
Typically only one treatment per body area is necessary. Results are visible very soon after treatment and will continue to improve over several months. Your physician may suggest wearing a compression garment for a brief period.
Areas of the Body Ideal for Treatment
The Allura laser lipo treatment is ideal for any area of the body that has pockets of unwanted fat. In addition to treating the chin and neck area with Allura Neck, popular areas treated by Allura Body include:
- Abdomen
- Love handles
- Saddle bags
- Inner & outer thighs
- Back and bra roll
- Upper knees and ankles
Is This Procedure Right for You?
The ideal candidate for Allura is reasonably fit with localized pockets of fat that exercise and diet alone cannot fix. It can also be used in conjunction with traditional liposuction in order to diminish the loose skin associated with the procedure. Our physicians will guide you through the process, answer any questions and suggest the treatment plan best for you.
The Center is Northern Michigan’s exclusive provider of Allura laser lipo services. We strive to continually bring our patients the best and most up-to-date skin care technology and treatments.
